The Story of Leo Club of Carey College
The Leo Club of Carey College is one of the most outstanding Leo Clubs in the Leo Districts 306 C2 as well as in the Leo Multiple District 306, Sri Lanka. It inherits a short but great history filled with achievements, ups and downs and many other experiences many can hardly imagine.
The Club was established in the year 2002 under the guidance of Lions Club of Nugegoda Central as the sponsor and parenting Lions Club. Now covering up to 21 years of social service to the needed community and still thriving with the same enthusiasm as day one.
We have been playing key roles in various events throughout the history of social service beyond our borders in Sri Lanka as well as in other countries.
In addition to our service, we achieved one of our greatest victories in the leoistic year 2021/2022 as the Leo Club of Carey was awarded the 2nd Best School – Based (Alpha) Leo Club in the Leo District 306 C2 under the presidency of Leo Aishan Rajudeen.
Over the past 21 years the Carey Leos have been able to render tremendous service to the community. Apart from that the Leo Club of Carey College is known for their innovativeness and the passion to do things in new ways.
